This year we are excited to announce our first High School Prep Summer Program. This program will run from mid-June through the KHSAA dead period. At that point, the players will be ready for their high school season as most will start immediately after July 10th! The focus on this program will be conditioning and injury prevention. The players will participate in timed runs, SAQ activities, and injury prevention exercises utilizing core strength, balancing and proper jumping/landing mechanics. The most dreaded part of high school soccer are the physical demands those two-a-days put on young bodies that inevitably leads to injuries. Too many coaches don't know the science and do not properly progressively load the demands on players. Every year players get hurt in the preseason needlessly so we want to put you in the best position possible to succeed this Fall season! Players will receive assessments at the end of the program so they know what to work on in during season to keep themselves healthy and on the field!
Sessions will be led by Coach Charlie, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Coach has one of the highest winning percentages in high school soccer the past four years and was a Two-Time State High School Coach of the Year. He has had multiple players named to All-State Teams including school records for the number of First Team All-State players. In addition to that, he produced a United Soccer Coaches High School All-American this season and four of his players are going on to play Collegiately next year. In short, he knows what it takes for your player to succeed at this level!
